Melissa Adkins is a Research Assistant for the Center for Patient and Provider Experience.
She works on a variety of research projects, primarily assisting Dr. Vickery in her work. This often includes research on the health care experiences of individuals with unstable housing, alternative payment models to health care, and the impact of current legislation on patient/provider experience. She recently assisted with a large, NIH grant proposal. Her research interests are focused around the intersections between medical and behavioral health.
Melissa is currently a student at Hamline University and will be receiving her BA in Psychology in December 2018. She is interested in pursuing a PhD, with an emphasis in clinical neuropsychology.
Fun fact: Melissa is a HUGE Harry Potter fan and collects the books… she has over 45 different editions!
