Mia is a Research Assistant for the Center for Patient and Provider Experience.
Her current areas of research are burden of treatment for patients and shared decision making in atrial fibrillation care. In her role as Research Assistant, she supports the Project and Research Coordinator in the day-to-day management of projects, such as patient recruitment and data collection.
She is interested in research to improve and expand healthcare service access to disadvantaged populations, particularly those seeking mental and behavioral health services.
Mia received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Biology from St. Cloud State University.
